WOW!! What a great club night, with a twist, we had!! 74 Lakers were out in force racing for glory and the first pie. Well done to all the groups on tough courses. 

First back to the bar and winner of The Hunslet Handicap 2023 was Darren Briggs. Fitting as he was a best mate of Thomas's dad, John, whom the trophy is named after. 

Big thank you to our organisers and bar team for the special, post run, food and quiz.

As in previous years this event was held to raise money for Wheatfields Hospice in memory of John, Kath and Lynn. They were part of the Laker's family and are sadly no longer with us, but will be forever in out thoughts.
