Sunday 7th December 2025 saw another successful Bah Humbug 10K, hosted by South Leeds Lakers Running Club. 300+ participants of all abilities tackled the challenging trails around Middleton Woods, many in fancy dress. The event was a fantastic showcase of Yorkshire spirit & determination. Runners enjoyed delicious mince pies & humbug sweets upon crossing the finish line, & the Phoenix Bar provided a welcoming space for drinks & hot food. Bart (Humbug) would like to say thank you to everyone who made this event memorable.

A massive thank you to every one of you that entered our annual Bah Humbug 10k.

It takes an army of people to put on an event like this, from the core team of volunteers working in the background for the last few months to our amazing army of the best hi viz hero's (christened BARTshalls today !) we’ve ever seen that cheered every runner home in the rain, the stadium team who adapted to any issue that was thrown at them, the cooks, the guys who provided our finishers treats, our juniors handing out the medals, our partners & suppliers, Kingy the Lion & of course our official starter Keith Senior, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We hope you all enjoyed today’s event, you’ve raised an awful lot of money for local good causes.
